Communities throughout the country are making pitches to Amazon as the retail giant decides where to open its second headquarters.
Both Grand Rapids and Detroit are trying to lure the company to Michigan.
Dan Gilbert, founder of Rock Ventures in Detroit, believes the Motor City may have a good shot at landing the deal.
He says they delivered a “thick proposal” to Amazon late last week.
The new facility is expected to create 50,000 jobs and generate $5 billion in investments.
