Hickory Hills Trail to Honor Traverse City Man’s Contributions to Children’s Recreation

A new trail at Hickory Hills will honor a man who has done invaluable things for children’s recreation in Traverse City.

Vojin Baic is a former Traverse City director and board member of the Biederman Foundation.

He was recognized at Hickory Hills Ski Area for his efforts to make sports and recreation accessible to all kids.

As city director, he championed the creation of many youth programs.

“Vojin, honestly has spent the greater part of his adult life making sure that kids of all backgrounds had opportunities to learn and to enjoy sport,” Chris Warren

The trail will be a little more than a mile, used for running, biking and cross country skiing.
