Scotus dismisses one of two challenges to ban
The court threw out the case that started in Maryland, involving a ban that’s now expired and has already been replaced.
This is separate from the case in Hawaii, which covers both the travel ban and a separate ban on refugees.
The refugee ban expires October 24.
The court did hint it would dismiss that second case.
But new challenges have already been filed and could return to court.
