Local artists with special needs in the Reed City area are coming together to have their work seen and heard.

The Reed City Theatre Guild hosted an event to benefit the middle school’s special education program.

You can see various forms of art on display like selfies and drawings.

The free art show went on from 7 to 9 Friday.

Melissa Langworth, who helped put it together, has a child with special needs and says the money will help teachers pay for supplies and other resources.

“All teachers tend to put their own money into things for their students to better their students and special ed teachers are no exception they really have a great staff there,” Melissa Langworthy, director said.

If you feel left out don’t worry!

The Theater Guild is hosting a variety show of singers, musicians, poets and comedians to benefit the school Saturday at 6.
