New York Inmates Help Shelter Dogs Find New Homes

New York inmates are partnering with pups to give them a second chance at finding their fur-ever homes.

‘Handcuffs to Healing’ helps shelter dogs that aren’t considered adoptable pair with prisoners for six weeks of training.

Most of the dogs have been classified as bully breeds, making it hard for them to find new owners.

These dogs have to be good with other dogs and people to be part of the program.
