There is still time to sign up for Cadillac’s Waterfowl Hunting Clinic at the Carl T. Johnson Hunting and Fishing Center.
The clinic starts next Saturday as part of the DNR’s Outdoor Skills Academy.
You can learn from a staff of skilled hunters on how to hunt waterfowl.
The clinic will cover everything you need to know, including how to find a spot, scouting, calling and what gear you should have.
“They can expect to learn everything they need to know about waterfowl hunting,” says season interpreter, Kevin Perry. “We’re bringing in a couple of experts. Waterfowl hunting A-Z, between layouts, blind locations, scouting. It eliminates a lot of mistakes like us old timers made when we first got into hunting.”
The cost for the class is $35 and you will also get a Daggs Custom Calls duck call.
