Benzie Co. Man Sentenced to Probation After Drug Teams Seize $1M Worth of Marijuana

A Benzie County man is sentenced to five years probation after drug teams seize $1 million worth of illegal marijuana.

Ronald Snyder will also need to do one year of electronic monitoring, pay more than $3,000 in fines and perform 40 hours of community service.

The Traverse Narcotics Team raided three of Snyder’s properties last year after receiving numerous tips that he was running an illegal marijuana farm.

They found nearly 400 marijuana plants, guns and large amounts of cash.

They arrested several other people in connection to this case.
