4th Annual Moloney’s Michigan Beerfest Helps Raise Money for 2 Battling Cancer

Cold brews, and a chance to raise some money for some brave Yoopers battling cancer.

More than a dozen Michigan breweries are headed to just one spot in Sault Ste. Marie.

The fourth annual starts Saturday at 3 p.m. and runs until 9 p.m. Saturday.

It’s your chance to taste sweet Michigan brews from 18 companies.

You can even chat with the brewers right on the spot and help back the community in more ways than one.

“We support our local businesses, we support our state and this is a fine way craft beer has come into it to be able to do that and support our economy in Michigan,” said Abby Baker, Moloney’s Alley manager.

Half of the proceeds from this event will go to Jessica Jorgenson and Alex McCready, two young Soo individuals who are fighting cancer.

The other half goes to the Downtown Development Authority.
