Traverse City Police had been searching for 25-year-old Emily Balcomb since Wednesday afternoon.

Troopers pulled over a suspected drunk driver Thursday just after 5:00 p.m. on US 31 near East Duck Lake Road in Green Lake Township.

They say they recognized one of the passengers as Balcomb.

Balcomb says she met the driver through a website called ‘Scout.’

She was turned over to Traverse City Police and is now back home and safe.
