Grand Traverse Sheriff’s Office is investigating a golf cart theft.
The golf cart was stolen from the front yard of a residence on Watson Road in Whitewater Township between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday.
The Club Car brand golf cart was originally red, but was repainted yellow and has headlights with lashed and a black dot; making them look like eyelashes.
The cart also has a metal rear rack with a drop tailgate on the side.
The owner observed a suspicious vehicle in the area Tuesday night. They were driving an early 2000’s suburban. It was described as dirty and possibly sandy/gold/silver in color.
