Police arrested a 17-year-old Traverse City man Wednesday morning, after they say he slammed into their car and ran away.
It happened as Grand Traverse County sheriff’s deputies responded to a complaint in Blair Township.
They heard a loud crash outside, and found someone had crashed into their patrol car and the driver took off running.
The man was arrested for driving without a driver’s license, no insurance and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor.
