Kids Battling Cancer Soar High Over Camp Living Waters

Kids battling difficult health issues had the chance to do something that some people never get to do in their lifetime.

Camp Quality partners with Remax of Boyne City to give dozens of kids the chance to go up in a hot air balloon.

Camp Quality is a program for children with cancer.

And Tuesday was a day many campers look forward to.

They were able to go up off the ground and look down at all their friends waiting for their turn.

Some campers have done this in previous years but others went up in the air for the first time.

“It’s really cool that us cancer survivors get to do these cool things and I would agree that we should be able to because we’ve been through a lot just going through whatever type of cancer it is,” Garrett Hill said.

Campers say being able to attend a camp with other kids going through the same thing is a great experience during a hard time.
