Bolt, the police K-9 who was stabbed during a drive-by shooting investigation and chase in Montcalm County, is recovering after the incident.
Bolt helped state police track down two people wanted for a drive-by shooting.
When he tracked a suspect down in the woods, troopers say the dog was stabbed.
Bolt has since been released from the MSU Veterinarian Hospital and is doing well.
It will be a few weeks before he’s ready for duty.
