Foxconn Expected to Announce Plans to Build Facility in Michigan

Chinese media is reporting Foxconn could be making a multi-billion dollar investment in Michigan.

You probably heard that company’s name when plans to build a $10 billion facility in Michigan went to Wisconsin last week.

But now, the South China Morning Post is reporting the Taiwanese tech company is planning on making an investment in Michigan to develop autonomous vehicles.

Governor Rick Snyder was in China this weekend where the announcement was made, but it isn’t clear if the trip spurred the decision.

Foxconn makes almost all of Apple’s iPhones.
