In this update, we now know the charges a Cheboygan County man is facing after deputies say he lead them on a chase with drugs on hand.
Jacob Kiefer of Cheboygan was arrested Monday.
Deputies say he took them through Cheboygan and Emmet counties, and eventually caused a crash that disabled this deputy’s SUV.
Kiefer’s charged with having narcotics with intent to deliver, running from police and being a habitual offender.
He could spend life in prison if convicted.
