Officials Seek Public Feedback On Plan To Improve Lake Huron Water Quality

U.S. and Canadian officials are asking for your thoughts on how to improve water quality in Lake Huron.

The Lake Huron Lakewide Action and Management Plan is a five year plan developed by scientists, the EPA and Environment and Climate Change Canada.

The plan deals with drinking-water quality, beach health, fish and wildlife consumption, chemical contamination invasive species and harmful algae outbreaks.

They’re taking public comment until September 5.
