MTM On The Road: Mackinac Island’s Original Murdick’s Fudge Shop Celebrates 130 Years of Fudge

Wednesday Mackinac Island’s celebrates 130 years of making their favorite sweet treat, fudge.

The iconic white shop opened their doors in 1887 with the simple goal of serving the most fresh and all-natural fudge.

It’s a goal they’ve never strayed from and this week they’re celebrating.

Friday, both Original Murdick’s Fudge Shops on Mackinac Island’s Main Street will be giving the first 130 kids who visit their shop a free slice of fudge (of one of their six original flavors).

The shop will also be handing out fun fudge tattoos, and Murdick’s Fudge inspired coloring pages to children throughout the day.

Get your tasting spoons ready and come celebrate all things fudge with the On The Road crew this morning!
