Petoskey Fire Department Helps Rescue Baby Bird

This next story will warm your heart.
A baby bird is safe thanks to the help of some Northern Michigan firefighters.
This is Brendan Blackburn and standing next to him is Fireman Scott Noble.
Brendan is from Bay Harbor and Scott works for the Petoskey Fire Department.
Brendan wanted to save this baby robin after he found it out of it’s nest while walking his dog.

Brendan’s family didn’t have a big enough ladder.
That’s when Brendan turned to the fire department for help.

"I said would you help me get this baby bird back in it’s next I know it’s not your normal emergency thing yeah so they brought a whole fire truck over," said Brendan.
The Petoskey Fire Department gladly helped out as you can see.
The baby bird is safely in its nest.
