The Cadillac Festival of the Arts kicks off Friday at City Park.
There will be food, live music, and of course, art.
Jane Nemecek is one of the six artists featured — returning this year after earning best in show and 1st place in fine arts for 2015.
She says they’ve been preparing for months, and she looks forward to it every summer.
Her favorite part is meeting people there, and talking with the people who come back every year.
“I think that’s part of the best part of it because when you sell your work and you get to talk to someone it’s just fun it’s fun to meet the people that enjoy your work,” Jane said.
The fest starts at noon Friday with the Taste of Cadillac and Library Book Sale, then the Cadillac Festival of the Arts starts at 1.
