A Northern Michigan residential community is now facing complaints of discrimination.
The Bay View Association, located just outside of Petoskey, is being accused of denying cottage ownership to non-Christians.
A group made up of some association members filed a complaint in district court last week.
They say they’ve been denied the ability to pass down their cottage to family members because of certain strict rules and that it’s a violation of the first amendment.
