State police say the man they found with a missing woman in the Upper Peninsula has been arrested for kidnapping.
Eric Ruska and Lee Ann Wilmoth did not come back from a fishing trip in Delta County last week.
The two were eventually found in Munising at a gas station Friday morning.
Officers were in the area at the time for surveillance on a number of 24-hour businesses when they spotted Ruska’s vehicle.
The story went viral on social media.
Ruska is a registered sex offender and has already been convicted of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a woman in 2004.
He will now be charged at the federal level by the assistant U.S. attorney’s office.
