Newaygo County Deputies Need Help Finding Potentially Armed, Dangerous Man

The Newaygo County Sheriff’s Office needs help finding a Hesperia man they say could be armed and dangerous.

The sheriff’s office is looking for 29-year-old Darrell Zeckzer.

According to the sheriff’s office, Zeckzer may be driving a stolen black 2013 Dodge Dart.

The Newaygo County Sheriff’s Office say they got a report early Friday morning that Zeckzer carjacked someone in the Orchard Market parking lot in Hesperia.

The car was later found on the side of M-20.

The sheriff’s office says someone spotted Zeckzer in their neighborhood later that morning. A neighbor woke up later and noticed a gun and a car had been stolen from their home.

Police say they are now looking for the black 2013 Dodge Dart.

The Newaygo County sheriff says Zeckzer may be armed and dangerous.

Anyone who knows Zeckzer’s whereabouts is asked to call 911, Newaygo County Central Dispatch at (231) 689-5288 or Silent Observer at (231) 652-1121.
