A crash in Grand Traverse County has three people recovering in the hospital.
It happened on US-31 in front of VanDrie Furniture in Garfield Township around 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
The Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office tells us a vehicle was changing lanes when another vehicle pulled out of the VanDrie off of US-31 parking lot and the two cars collided head on.
We spoke to deputies who say as of now, none of the injuries are life threatening.
Now, the task is trying to figure out who, if anyone, is at fault.
“Luckily no other cars were involved, just missed this one right here in the parking lot, but there was other cars in the immediate area, my witness was one of them, had to take evasive action to miss the crash but luckily nobody else was hit,” said Deputy Christopher Halleck.
We are told one woman suffered several broken bones and two woman have possible cracked or broken ribs.
