West Nile Virus Found in Michigan Birds

The West Nile virus is back in Michigan.

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says it found the virus in three birds.

A turkey in Barry County, a crow in Kalamazoo County and another crow in Saginaw.

Symptoms in humans include fever, confusion, muscles weakness and severe headache.

Health officials warn you to try and prevent mosquito bites, which can transmit the virus.
