Rocker Chris Cornell has died.
Cornell gained his fame as the lead singer of Soundgarden, and later Audioslave.
According to his representative Brian Bumbery, Cornell died Wednesday night in Detroit.
He stated Cornell’s death was “sudden and unexpected.”
Bumbery also said the family is working with medical examiner to determine the cause of death and asks for privacy.
Chris Cornell was 52.
