A local company gave back to the many who fought for our freedom Wednesday.
It’s the annual Serra Traverse City Veteran Appreciation Lunch.
The Serra Cadillac dealership was full of veterans and active military personnel.
Veterans say they’re grateful for the free and tasty lunch, but what truly makes it special is being around others who have served.
Joe Ball served during the Vietnam Era in the Air Force. He says, “I’ve never been in a situation where there’s been a lot of veterans around, but I always appreciate the opportunity to meet folks who kind of been through what you’ve been through.”
The lunch also included a Coast Guard fly over just for the veterans.
