City Of Cadillac To Host Annual Park Cleanup Day

Some Northern Michigan parks are in need of a little spring cleaning and you can help!

The City of Cadillac is holding their annual parks cleanup day Saturday.

It’s a day for volunteers of all ages to get out and prepare all of the parks for the summer months ahead.

Volunteers will be picking up sticks, trash, and raking leaves.

Cleanup begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends with a provided lunch at the Kenwood Pavilion.

“Just wanna invite folks to come on out and experience and enjoy the parks,” says Al Dumond of the City of Cadillac. “There’s a little work involved but it’s a great time. It’s a great time of community, people getting together and doing something for their city.”

For more information on volunteering call the city at (231) 775-0181 ext. 104.
