Are you good speller and looking for a little competition?
Well now you have a chance to show off your spelling skills all for a good cause.
Stormcloud Brewing Company in Frankfort is celebrating their fourth annual Adult Spelling Bee and Fundraiser Friday night.
Entry fees and 20 percent of the pub sales from Friday night will be given to the Friends of the Benzie Shores District Library.
They are a nonprofit that provides support, programs, and equipment to the Benzie Shores District Library in Frankfort.
Teams consist of one or two people and there will be prizes for the top three teams.
"Each team has their own whiteboard and they can talk about how they want to, what the best spelling is and they write it out and, basically, just show their whiteboard when they’re called upon so it’s not, for the people who don’t like to get up in front of crowds, this is a much tamer spelling bee,” says Keirsun Scott of Stormcloud Brewing Co. “It’s a lot of fun and it’s a good cause.”
