State Representative Curt VanderWall introduced a pair of bills Thursday in Lansing that will hopefully attract out of state hunters to Michigan.
The bill would create a three-day $40 small game hunting license.
VanderWall says it will appeal to out of state hunters looking to spend a long weekend in the Mitten State.
Right now, the shortest license is seven days for $80.
A second bill would give out of state hunters who own property in Michigan a reduced rate license if they hunt on their own land.
