Autism Centers Of Michigan Moves To New Building In Traverse City

April is National Autism Awareness Month and the Autism Centers in Traverse City is celebrating by moving into a new, larger building.

The community came together for the ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday.

The size of the building alone has allowed them to increase the number of supervisors from three or four, to nearly fourteen.

The expansion allows them to open up their services to many more families in need in Northern Michigan.

“My favorite part about being a part of something this size is the number of families we’re able to help in the community,” says Autism Centers of Michigan Clinical Director, Krista Boe. “I absolutely give all the credit to the wonderful staff that we have here working directly with the kids.”
