Grant Me Hope: Ciana

This week in Grant Me Hope we meet Ciana, a caring, sweet 16-year-old girl who is focused on her future.

She’s hoping a forever family will be part of that plan.

Ciana is an active girl who enjoys dance class, choir and playing volleyball.

She likes to get her homework done, and English is one of her favorite classes.

“I also like English. I like the synonyms and antonyms, and figuring out words,” says Ciana.

When she grows up, she wants to be a pediatrician.

“Right now I’m thinking the School of Medicine at Western Michigan University. You learn to do CPR and mostly a lot of doctor things. I want to be a pediatrician because I work really well with little kids,” says Ciana.

Ciana is looking for a forever family to adopt her.

“I would like support for the first steps to be a pediatrician, and to learn better by support of a family,” explains Ciana. “I want a family that would care about me and not just like yell at me for no reason. I’d like a family who takes me more on outings, because I could be in the world having fun and not just sticking in the house.”

Grant Me Hope is a collaboration between WWTV, Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange and the business community — all working together to find foster children a forever home.
