In this update, a drunk driver who ran a family off the road was sentenced to jail Tuesday.
Chippewa County deputies say the Baragwanath family was driving home after watching Stacy Linklater be sentenced for the drunk driving crash that killed their son.
They say James Lyons III ran the family off the road at three and a half times the legal limit.
Lyons was sentenced to 45 days in jail, with credit for already serving 29 days.
He’ll also has to serve 9 months probation.
