The murder trial for the man accused of stabbing his friend to death started Monday morning.
Jury selection is underway for Matthew Fruge.
He’s accused of stabbing Jacob Conklin 10 times outside of his Bay Township home.
A witness says he saw Fruge on top of Conklin.
When he pushed him off, Conklin was bleeding heavily with the knife lying next to him.
In a 911 call, Fruge’s wife said she thought her husband was on drugs.
Fruge was found competent to stand trial in January.
