MTM On The Road: Behind the Scenes of the Fox Theatre in Detroit

It’s time to kick off a month of downstate travels where our Mondays are made in the D! Join us On The Road as we check out the most iconic landmarks and businesses in and around the Motor City every Monday in November. First up, we go to downtown Detroit and tour the radiant Fox Theatre. Majestic and mighty, the Fox dates back to 1928 when it first opened as a movie theatre for film maker William Fox. Since then the 4,800+ seats have been filled for timeless performers including Diana Ross, Smokey Robinson, Frank Sinatra and hundreds more. Today we take you behind the scenes, on stage and into all the intricate spaces in between that make this building a national landmark.
