What a day for a very special lady in sault Ste. Marie.
“As mayor of the city of Sault Ste. Marie, I hear by proclaim Wednesday October the 19th, 2016 as Ebe Toffolo day in the city of Sault Ste Marie.”
Happy 110th birthday Ebe Toffolo!
Ebe was born in 1906 and has seen a lot in her life; like the automobile becoming part of society and women first being allowed to vote.
They celebrated Wednesday with cake, ice cream and music at Hearthside Assisted Living in The Soo.
Ebe has some advice on living a long life:
"That I could obey my mother and because my mother was a good mother and it was hard for a lady then to raise a family and I respected my mother," says Ebe Toffolo.
