Mackinac County Man’s Murder Trial Continues
The Darrell Lovegrove murder trial continues.
He is accused of killing a 17-year-old in a drunk driving crash.
Police arrested Lovegrove for the crash last October.
He hit and killed Mitchell Snyder as he was driving home from his homecoming dance in St. Ignace in Mackinac County.
Lovegrove’s second-degree murder trial started Monday in Charlevoix because of conflicts with local judges and attorneys.
Two men who were seen with Lovegrove that night testified Wednesday morning.
They said they saw him drinking that night.
One even said he told Lovegrove not to drive.
