Cadillac Wexford Transit Authority to Launch ‘Nightly Rider Program’
Wexford County’s public transportation system is going to start offering more rides.
The Cadillac Wexford Transit Authority is launching the ‘Nightly Rider Program’ next month.
The CWTA will offer new evening hours Monday through Friday from 6 p.m. to midnight.
It will also be giving rides on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The program is made possible through a federal grant — so no local dollars are being used.
“This will enable us to help people with employment to and from employment after 6 p.m. and they’ll also be able to do recreational activities, different things that might be going on in the parks and so on,” said CWTA Operations and IT Manager Aaron Stahl.
The program kicks off on November 28.
