Baker College of Cadillac Opens Authorized Pearson VUE Test Center

One Northern Michigan college is making it easier for the community to get career certifications.

Baker College recently opened a Pearson VUE-authorized test center on their Cadillac campus.

Before, students and community members had to travel out of the area to take certification tests.

Now there is a test center available locally.

The center is open for people trying to get information technology certifications, or to take their GED test.

“If you live in Cadillac and you have to travel to Traverse City to prepare for the test and then take the test, that’s a deterrent to getting it done. So making that available here is really critically important,” explained Mark Lagerwey, Dean of Business and Technology at Baker College.

To take a certification test, you must schedule an appointment through Baker College.
