President Obama Praises Hillary Clinton in Address at DNC
“We endure, we overcome and we always, always, always move forward,” said Vice President Joe Biden during a passionate plea to elect Hillary Clinton as day three of the Democratic National Convention came to an end Wednesday.
He was one of several high profile speakers at Wednesday night’s event, including President Obama.
Vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine also addressed the convention, accepting the party’s nomination.
Kaine explained what he brings to the table, sang Clinton’s praises, and occasionally dipped into Spanish.
But all eyes were on the president for the keynote speech.
"Our power doesn’t come from some self-declared savior promising that he alone can restore order as long as we do things his way," Obama stated, slamming Donald Trump. "We don’t look to be ruled."
He says there’s never been a man or woman more qualified to serve as president.
“A leader with real plans to break down barriers, blast through glass ceilings and widen the circle of opportunity to every single American –the next president of the United States, Hillary Clinton.”
Hillary Clinton will deliver her acceptance speech Thursday night.
