TRAVERSE CITY – The Traverse City Junior Golf Association will host its skills challenge at Bay Meadows Family Golf Course Sunday evening.
The free event is open to boys and girls ages 6-15 and features driving, chipping and putting challenges.
"It’s a great time,” TCJGA president Todd Hursey said. “It’s just easy to get the kids excited, because it’s a fun sport, and we will help them have success, and from there, usually once they’ve had that, they’re hooked, and ready to keep at it."
The event begins at 5 p.m., with check-in at 4:30 p.m.
