Manton Library Project Launches Brick Fundraiser

A local community needs your help building a new library, and they’re doing a brick fundraiser to help the cause.

The Manton Library Project is looking to raise $600,000 for a new library.

They’ve raised $6,000 so far.

The old library was built in 1933, and doesn’t meet the needs of the public.

Now they’re asking the community to purchase engraved bricks that will make up the library walkway to pledge their support.

“We do a four-by-eight brick or an eight-by-eight brick,” Friends of the Library President Vicki Long said. “Four-by-eight will be $150. The eight-by-eight $300. A lasting proof that you’ve supported this great cause.”

If you’d like to buy a brick, contact Vicki at 231-884-1663.
