Cadillac Public Library Hosting Adult Reading Challenge

A local library is holding a summer reading challenge for adults.

The Cadillac Wexford Public Library has hosted reading challenges for kids for years now, and for the first time, they’re putting adults to the test.

Each month, there’s a bingo-type sheet with different challenges listed inside.

When you get five, you can turn in your sheet to be entered for a prize.

“As much as we love the kids, we didn’t think it was fair for them to have all the fun. So adults are invited to come in and renew the pleasure of reading they knew as a child, and get prizes too,” said Library Director Cathy Tacoma.

In June and July, local businesses are contributing gift baskets for prizes.

In August, an Amazon Kindle Fire is up for grabs.
