Presidential Candidates Brace Themselves for a Close Race Before Wisconsin Primary
In continuing coverage of the 2016 presidential election, the candidates are busy preparing for Tuesday’s primary in Wisconsin.
There is a close race on both sides.
Republican candidate Ted Cruz is leading in the state by just six points over Donald Trump, while democratic candidate Bernie Sanders has a slight two point lead over Hillary Clinton.
The Vermont senator spoke at a university, while Hillary Clinton was in New York, already campaigning for her adopted home state’s April 19th primary.
Ted Cruz is telling voters he’s the Republican Party’s only chance at winning the White House.
After Wisconsin’s primary, Colorado will have its republican caucus on Saturday –the same day that Wyoming will have their democratic caucus.
