Northern Michigan Golf Course Seeing More Business with Warmer Weather

Golfers in Northern Michigan are soaking up the sunshine and warmer fall temperatures, taking advantage of an extended season.

The owner of Bay Meadows Family Golf Course says it has been a wonderful fall for them so far.

The warmth means they can keep their courses open longer and the extended season just means more business at a time when things are typically tapering off.

“We’re up about 30 percent since the first of September, so it’s been a great end of the season. You know we still have some good days coming, but we’re very grateful for the wonderful warm weather we’ve been receiving.”

While the warm weather won’t last long, Bay Meadows says it will be offering fall rates for golfers until the snow hits.
