Washington State Wildfires Continue Burning, Destroying Homes

Wildfires continue to burn in Washington state.

According to Fire Spokesman Andrew Sanbri, firefighters have about 2% of the fire contained, thanks to calmer winds and cooler temperatures.

The complex of fires has burned about 379 square miles.

This has created smoky conditions and reduced air quality in much of eastern Washington and northern Idaho.

So far, it has been estimated that 150 homes have been destroyed.

There is one known death.
