M.S.P. Underwater Recovery Unit Trains in Charlevoix

It's cold, but spending time in the water is just part of the job for divers training in northern Michigan.

The Michigan State Police Underwater Recovery Unit is testing new dry suits, and equipment.

9&10 News caught up with the divers at a dive training today, Wednesday, in Charlevoix.

They train every month on a local level, and every quarter as an entire team.

This time they're testing new sonar equipment.

The divers on the team are from all over the state, and they will be in the Charlevoix area training through Friday.
