Michigan’s Seasonally Unadjusted Unemployment Rates Drop

Michigan's seasonally unadjusted unemployment rates have dropped.

The figures for September were released today by the Department of Technology, Management and Budget.

They reflect seasonal reductions in the workforce.

The statewide unadjusted jobless rate was 10.1 percent compared with 11 percent in August.

77 of Michigan's 83 Counties had lower unemployment rates in September.

Mackinac County had the lowest county rate at 4.4 percent.
