Man Indicted for Assault on Isabella County Reservation
Federal Prosecutors say a 19-year old Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Member tried to ram a car off the road while driving his car 70 to 80 miles an hour back in December. Lyle James Pego was indicted last week on an assault with a dangerous weapon with intent to do bodily harm charge. They say he tried to force two people off the road on the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Reservation in Isabella County. He was ordered to be held without bond until trial. If convicted, he could face up to 10 years in prison.
