Asparagus Farmers Say This Season was “The Worst Ever”

It has been a record breaking season for some asparagus farmers in Northern Michigan; But it's not a record they ever wanted to break. Some farmers in Mason County say thanks to this years unusual weather, this has been the worst season they've ever had. Asparagus season is supposed to last about 6 weeks. But a light crop has many farmers prolonging their season to try and make more money. The problem is, the longer they farm, the worse off the could be for the following season.
