West Branch Hate Mailers Head to Court
The son of a man accused of threatening U.S. congressman Bart Stupak will be in court today. Agents arrested Russell Hesch of West Branch last week. He and his son David Hesch, who lives in Loveland, Colorado, are accused of threatening Stupak and his family by sending them hate mail. The two were apparently upset over Stupak's vote in favor of health care reform. Russel Hesch appeared in court Wednesday. Stupak represents Michigan's first congressional district which includes the entire upper peninsula.
